Mantra, prayer, chanting, poems, and songs are as ancient as thought. Today’s science provides evidence that mantras are a useful tools that you can use to heal. These three mantra functions are easy to implement to provide protection, clearings, or affirmations.

Lets explore the uses of mantras and bioenergetics for healing.
You can use your bioenergetics to heal yourself or others. Bio is a life, a living, breathing, and growing organism, and energetics is energy, electricity, power, and frequency. While, mantra is a Sanskrit word, and by composition, “man” means mind, and “tra” means tool or protection.
The mantra, by definition, becomes a tool of protection for the mind or using the mind as a tool for protection. This tool of the mind is language and thought. Mantras can be a thought tool used to develop thought patterns in the brain, a frequency tool to influence energy in the body, and a visual tool to quickly communicate beliefs and meaning to the subconscious.
Ways to use a Mantra for Neuroplasticity Development

First, closure statements and mantras have been a big part of my healing. As in the pervious article series exploring healing through an emotional and chakra connection. These closure statements were my mantras. By using these mantras over and over they became a cognitive tool. By using this cognitive tool over and over my brain builds new neural pathways and changes my thought patterns.
Lets use an example with the root chakra and fear example and a closure statement with abandonment.
This might look like, “why aren’t they texting,” “why haven’t they answered?”
You can pause and use your tool tool, “just because you haven’t responded doesn’t mean you’ve stopped supporting me.” Meanwhile your body can relax and your brain will use the new pathways and continue to make them stronger.
Each time you do this your brain learns that the old thought pathway is no longer desirable. Ultimately with time this new thought pathway will become strong (efficient) enough that it will become the default thought process.

Healing Mantras, Bioenergetics, and Frequency

Second, the chakras and mantras are energy. These energies have a frequency. Like a radio, these frequencies are a signature or identifier, like a radio station. A frequency defines an energetic location, a place in the energetic field.
Mantra Function and Energy Principals
Just like radio waves, human bioenergetics are Invisible energies around us. With the right equipment tuned to the right frequency, you can tune into and listen to this energy.
The second healing concept is that a mantra has energy and a frequency and the frequency of the mantra clears your energy field.
Instead of working from the present moment and accessing old programing, the mantra frequency interacts with your energy field now. This is a helpful tool to clear out chakra blockages. (The first method of energy work is to stop the blockages and emotional build up from happening in the first place.)
When you speak or think, an energy wave is generated. Speaking produces a sound, a pressure wave, and thinking produces a thought, a brainwave. Waves carry energy. Just like a radio, these waves can be tuned into to access the information they carry.
The second healing concept is that words have energy and certain words have a specific energy or frequency. These frequencies can heal, unblock, or activate the chakras.
The rate at which you say a mantra also creates frequency, ie saying something fast verse saying something slow.
In bioenergetics, the amount of energy is controlled by the amount of emotion applied, e.g., whispering something rather than yelling something and the level of emotional intensity applied. This is where the practice of chanting lives.
Mantras and Collective Healing
Scientists have also measured that you can use your bioenergetics to influence the ‘’collective consciousness” of a town or area. One of the most interesting examples is the 911 event in New York City. This is another topic and level of collective healing. The point is that people can use thoughts to influence a town and area, then you can use your thoughts for healing by influencing the state of your chakra centers.
Language frequency and Mantra Song
Some languages are even designed so that the spoken number has the same frequency as that. This brings another level of power and energy delivery method when chanting or singing a mantra song.
Healing Mantras, Biogeometry, and Symbols

The third way to use a mantra for healing is through a symbol.
The heart shape invokes a symbol of love anywhere you go, and the symbol of a dove represents peace. Healing shapes, symbols, and even designing architecture with specific shapes are not new ideas. Churches are designed to stretch and reach for the sky, and religious buildings are decorated inside and out with symbols of important teachings.
The Star of David, The Cross, The triple spiral you get the idea. They all represent a collection of thoughts a way of thinking, or emotions.
Ancient Egypt has biogeometry and even more popular is sacred geometry. The idea is that physical symbols and structures can invoke a power to heal, protect, or amplify energy. Symbols are actually one of the more powerful ways to use mantras as they speak to the unconscious mind.
Make Personal Mantras

You might even have little symbols or mementos that are more personal to you and represent or symbolize personal relationships. This can also be done with a personal mantra.
You can use the practices of monograms or sigils to create a symbol, a sacred personal symbol for you. It can be carried in your pocket or hung on the wall.
A personal mantra and something that you believe will be more potent than any ancient or random sayings.
Taking your mantra and creating a symbol to represent your belief or a new way of thinking will be powerful. The power comes from the level of emotion that you attach to the beliefs and symbols. Mantras are helpful in healing from trauma or when going through troubling times. Whether said in the mind, chanted, or adorned, mantras are tools for protecting the mind.
